The company seeks a candidate to join a new project for a leading provider of risk management services, insurance and reinsurance brokerage. The successful candidate will implement mathematical models in MATLAB, C++ and Python to operate on a high throughput computing grid. 

Requirements:

• Ability to learn new technologies, tools and concepts is required
• Good English, at least sufficient for reading technical documentation, specifications and requirements is required
• Problem solving skills are required
• Must be a good team player
• Mathematical background is required
• C++ programming experience is required
• Experience with MATLAB or similar modeling tools is highly desirable
• Experience of programming in Python is a plus
• Good software architecture design skills are desirable
• Understanding of parallel programming is a big plus
• Understanding of GPU/OpenCL computing is a big plus
• Understanding of grid computing is a plus
• Understanding of stochastic modeling is a plus
• Experience in areas of financial services, insurance, risk management, trading is a big plus
