We search for Configuration manager with strong knowledge and working experience in:
General requirements:
- Unix/Linux administration experience;
- Good English (speaking);
- Shell scripting knowledge (bash).
Special requirements:
- General Linux/UNIX architecture understanding;
- Filesystem organization, basic daemons (i.e. cron, inetd, etc);
- Shell/Bash scripting (at least at "beginner" level);
- TCP/IP networking: IP addressing, routing;
- FTP/HTTP/SSH uderstanding;
The following experience is considered as a plus:
- Database administration (Oracle, DB2);
- Configuring and supporting AIX servers;
- Web and application servers (like Tomcat, JBoss etc);
- Continuous Integration tools (like CruiseControl, Continuum, Hudson etc.);
- Issue Tracking (JIRA, Trac, Bugzilla, TestTrack etc.);
- Version Control (Subversion, CVS, Perforce etc.).
